In doing research recently for a family member suffering from stage 2-3 breast cancer, I came across a tool called a “nomogram”.  I had never heard of this device before.  According to Wikipedia, a nomogram is “a graphical calculating device, a two-dimensional diagram designed to allow the approximate graphical computation of a function”.
